It all started with me wanting to capture a nice photo of the White-tailed Eagle. It's our biggest bird and magnificent to look at when out in the archipelago. Over the years my interest in birds has grown and I now try to document other species as well. Lately I've been focusing on Divers and Grebes.
Photographic highlights so far has been our trip to Lofoten 2009 and Svalbard 2010. Beautiful scenery and great birding opportunities. Norway has definitely become the favourite country to travel to. In 2011 I'm currently planning a trip to Island, hoping to see beautiful landscapes and a few bird species.
During the winter months I feed birds of prey, passerines and woodpeckers and I look forward to November when I start brining out food. This year I hope the Goshawk shows up. With some luck I might just see the Sparrowhawk as well.
